This amazing story spread like wildfire through Anash communities throughout Eretz Yisroel and the world. It was an incredible chain of Divine Providence that strengthens our belief that the shepherd has not abandoned his flock, and the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach continues to lead his people with even greater fortitude.
A meeting between an elderly Belzer Chassid from B’nei Brak and the Rebbe led the Belzer to make two special requests. The Rebbe replied to each of them with p’sukim from the Book of Psalms. Just before he moved on, the Rebbe added another pasuk, which turned out years later to be an amazing prophecy!
There it was written: the 13th of Elul, the wedding of the Rebbe Rayatz, 5749, Erev Shnas Nissim. I read this sentence again and again, as I stood there in shock. What incredible Divine Providence! It took me several hours to calm down.

Total chaos reigned everywhere. Women and children screamed in fear as they attempted to flee the scene. Emergency forces sent for a medical helicopter and everyone prepared for the worst. The bitterness within him grew more intense. Feeling that he had been deceived, he began to make problems for this esteemed Chassid. As the weeks passed, he went one step further: He took a chair and sat at the entrance of R’ Shmuel Betzalel’s inn, calling upon all passers-by not to patronize a business run by a liar and a fraud.
The construction of the mikva in Recife, Brazil was quickly moving forward. There was a donor, an engineer had volunteered his time, space had been allocated, but one important thing was missing. Recife had been enduring drought conditions for five years (!), and there hadn’t been a drop of rain. While the shliach was extremely busy with the building project, the m’shaleiach “knew all that was being done.” During the farbrengen of Shabbos Parshas Shmini 5744, the Rebbe began to speak about a subject that filled the shliach with excitement. And the miracle? It naturally took place! “And these days shall be remembered and celebrated…”
“The Rebbe loves us and showed us a love so great that we responded with an increase in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus and the announcement of the Redemption.” After midnight, the Shoresh Interchange along the Tel Aviv-Yerushalayim highway was virtually free of traffic. Suddenly, the sight of flashing lights signaled repair work along the road. Rabbi Pinchas Kirschenzaft hit the brakes at the last possible moment, but the bus behind him slammed into the family car, crushing it completely. As a result, the two cars in front went flying – one into the opposite lane, the other on top of the car containing the four members of the Kirschenzaft family, including two small children. After the doctors ran some basic tests, they informed us that our infant daughter had been born with a rare disease found in one out of every five thousand people: The small intestine had not properly developed, and the child needed an immediate operation! “We’re talking about a one-week old baby,” I told the doctor. “I don’t want her operated on now!” However, the doctor was adamant. “This is a matter of life and death,” he said. “The operation must be done. There’s no alternative…”
In a Heavenly-inspired yechidus, the Rebbe foresaw the future for the Jewish community along the Iraqi border. A Belzer Chassid traveled to Cordoba, Spain, the city of the Rambam, to supervise the production for Kosher L’Pesach oil, and he found himself being watched by a suspicious-looking Arab.
