Rabbi Levi Yitzchok was born on 18 Nissan in Russia in 1878. At a young age, he displayed unusual talents in Torah study. When he grew up, he married Rebbetzin Chana, the daughter of the Chassid Rabbi Meir Shlomo Yanovsky, rav of the city Nikolaev in the Ukraine.
An amazing Jew lived in Yekaterinoslav and his name was Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneersohn zt”l. A Gaon, Chassid and Mekubal. He had many practices that were rooted in Chassidus and Kabbala. On top of that, his conduct was wondrous, lofty, and filled with chayus and enthusiasm. To mark his passing on Chaf Av, we present this compilation of the cycle of the year.
