FROM KATHMANDU TO BEIT SHE’AN – AND IN BETWEEN

An amazing story of Divine Providence, when a shliach from Nepal suddenly knocked on the door of the home of Rabbi Yaakov Shmuelevitz, asking to speak with him. A third Jew later joined the conversation, thereby closing the circle in a most miraculous and fascinating manner.

MELECH HA’MOSHIACH ON THE SMALL SCREEN

Two weeks ago, on the 24th of Teves, about half a million people watched a special television program on Israel’s Channel 10 about the Rebbe and the faith of his Chassidim that he is Melech HaMoshiach. Beis Moshiach Magazine presents a review of this film, which includes a discussion with its director, Yoav Shamir. We asked him how he came to be so excited about this project and what he would personally ask the Rebbe if he were only able to do so.

SIX STORIES OF FORGIVENESS

Sometimes there are things that cause us problems and we don’t know the reason why we must experience the challenges. We often are forced to search our hearts: perhaps we have done an offense against one of our fellow Jews – all of whom are on the level of “children of Hashem, your G-d.” Offending another Jew is no small matter – he is the King’s son. The following six amazing stories will testify to that.

WE BOTH DREAMT OF THE REBBE THAT NIGHT

“My wife told me that she had dreamt that night about the Rebbe, and when I heard this, it almost took my breath away. I too had dreamt about the Rebbe that night!”

THE REBBE: OUR LEADER AND GUIDE

There is indeed an appointed season for everything, and a time for every matter under the heavens – even a haircut for a three year-old boy. This is what happened as an entire family surprisingly became connected to the Rebbe MH”M through a totally unexpected answer in Igros Kodesh. Beis Moshiach presents two recent “Igros Kodesh” stories.

THEY’D NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!

Mr. Benny Sheetrit is a very warm and kindhearted individual, known as the local greengrocer for the Chabad community of Tzfas. When he was suffering from considerable pain and immobility in both of his legs, he arranged to have an operation at a prominent medical center. However, an answer from the Rebbe changed all his plans in an instant. Benny, who is not a Chabad Chassid, followed the Rebbe’s instructions, and the surprising results came shortly thereafter…

“WAS THERE EVER
A PROBLEM HERE?”

A young couple waiting anxiously for the birth of their first child had suddenly discovered that the fetus was suffering from a serious heart condition. And if that wasn’t enough, they quickly learned that there were other problems that simply made the situation worse. There wasn’t much time before the birth, and the doctors were urging them to undergo serious and complex examinations, until the Rebbe decided otherwise…

MORE CHILDREN? COME FOR TISHREI!

When the Rebbe promises that there will be more children, he doesn’t mean just one. Within that year, my wife became pregnant yet again, and it was quite thrilling to experience how each birth took place during the month of Tishrei. We now clearly understood the meaning of my amazing dream: The Rebbe promised children, he knew that they would come during Tishrei, and he made sure to add that I shouldn’t forego my trip to Beis Chayeinu.

A CHANGE OF VENUE
BRINGS A CHANGE OF LUCK
– TWENTY YEARS LATER

After five successive heart attacks had placed their mother’s life in jeopardy, her children turned to the Rebbe and asked for a bracha. The answer was not long in coming: Change your place and you change your luck for good and for a blessing. • A fascinating story that came to its final conclusion twenty years later.

DREAMING ABOUT A LETTER FROM BROOKLYN

She was forced to leave the home of her non-observant parents. She was raised in an ultra-Orthodox dormitory in Meia Sh’arim, but she abandoned everything and went out to explore the world. However, G-d eventually brought her back to the leader of the generation, and she received an abundance of blessings and spiritual guidance from him. It’s no wonder that when she gave birth to her daughter at a relatively advanced age, she added a “Hey” to her name as a sign of thanks to the Creator. This is the story of Mrs. Rachel Kolevsky from Kiryat Ata.
