The Chassid, R’ Pesach Malastovker, who was known by the name of the city he came from, was a great Chassid. He was an extraordinary amkan (deep thinker) in Chassidus, an oveid (one who toils in prayer and self-correction), and someone with elevated character traits. He used his deep grasp to delve into drushei Chassidus and maamarim that he heard from our Rebbeim.
A wealthy donor asked that a letter be written to the Rebbe on his behalf for success in his business ventures. The answer from the Rebbe in the Igros Kodesh warned that he had to part from his gentile wife. The bachurim from the Eilat yeshiva were sitting at the farbrengen called to strengthen ‘Tefillin Campaign’ activities in the city, when a Litvishe student came in and tried to cool off their enthusiasm. However, just then, the door suddenly opened, and by an incredible case of Divine Providence, there entered a living and breathing testimony to the success of Mivtza Tefillin.
A knock at the door disturbed the quiet in the small room packed with s’farim. R’ Yisroel, the Koznitzer Maggid, looked up from the seifer in front of him and told the person knocking to enter. The door opened and in peeked the head of his faithful attendant.

“Thank G-d, we have a five-and-a-half-year-old daughter and adorable twins. Nothing is a given; we need to thank G-d for every second.” This is how Devorah Leah begins her story which she shares because the Rebbe said to publicize miracles in order to hasten the Geula.
This story happened at the end of Shvat 5751. R’ Yitzchok Krispil who lives in Kiryat Shmuel in the Krayot owned a pizza store and bakery. Over the years, the business was fine and his customers included Sephardim, Litvishe, and National Religious types
In 5736, the Rebbe sent ten bachurim to Seattle to open a yeshiva near the university. About 600,000 people lived in the city at the time, with 15,000 Jews. At the edge of town was a small religious community. Few Jews were registered in any Jewish organizations
“Are you the father of Yitzchok Berger?” I was asked. I figured it was the Doctors’ office that wanted to make an appointment for a routine checkup for the ten-month old baby. But when I said yes, I was surprised to hear the following. “This is Tzivos Hashem. Your son won a ticket to the Rebbe.”
The Shneor School in Aubervilliers, a suburb of Paris, is known among tens of thousands of French Jews as the school that conveys Jewish-Chassidic values in a professional, sensitive way. This spirit in the school is thanks to the founders, Rabbi Sholom Mendel Kalmanson a”h and his wife, ybl”c, Mrs. Basia Kalmanson.
R’ Efraim Reich is a Sanzer Chassid who was a shamash for the Sanzer Rebbe zt”l. One time, R’ Efraim was present at a Melaveh Malka meal that took place at a hall in Petach Tikva. R’ Efraim was given the honor of relating a Chassidic tale, as is customary to do on Motzaei Shabbos. R’ Efraim surprised everyone when he told a story about the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Rabbi Shmuel Pesach Bogomilsky is not only a big talmid chacham and gifted orator, but also a shliach of the Rebbe. In his youth, he visited dozens of countries and brought Torah and Judaism to the local Jews
It seemed as if every hardship in the world had befallen the tzaddik Reb Menachem Mendel of Vitebsk, ever since he had arrived in the Holy Land with a few hundred of his Chassidim from Eastern Europe. It appeared that his settling in Eretz Yisroel related to such lofty intentions and thus resulted in drawing down upon him great prosecutions and tests from on high, as per the saying, “That which is holier is more desolate.”
