It says in Yeshayahu, “Where is the bill of divorce…that I have sent?” – meaning that it does not exist! G-d never divorced, nor intended to divorce, the Jewish people. The fact that it appears otherwise – Moshiach will answer that. Or perhaps this itself is the answer – that the matter is only one of appearance. So what is holding Him back?!
Why are you “casting away” my father-in-law, the Rebbe to “Siberia,” to “Solovki” – to Gan Eden?! We need him (and he may well need us) here!
What purpose is there in saying “nishmaso Eden” when it is easier and better to say “nishmaso bi – his soul resides within me”? So too with regard to the Rebbe: I don’t say “nishmaso Eden” but “nishmaso bi” [the soul of the Rebbe Rayatz resides within me]!
The title accorded to Moshiach is Melech – King. The word Melech is said to be an acronym for mo’ach (brain), lev (heart) and kaved (liver). These three parts of the human anatomy parallel the three areas that we must tackle to bring about our total return to G-d, which after all is the function of Moshiach.
May Hashem yisbarech help that we will not need to rely on “let us render [for] bulls [the offering of] our lips.” Rather, the Rebbe himself, the Rebbe shlita, should lead us to greet Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
In many ways, the challenge today is greater than any time previously. Our task now is to see these threats to our spiritual existence as false challenges and for us to recognize that they are not reality. These temptations do not represent the true nature of our world; deep down the world has become saturated with the G-dly energy generated by millennia of Mitzvah observance, notwithstanding all of the hardships it entailed.

Incredibly, when he returned from there, his father, the Rebbe nishmaso Eden, asked him whether the cell was spacious enough to contain three people. His query proves that their visit was in the form of physical bodies…
The truth is that Moshe did not die. If the public accepts these words – all the better. However, if they have difficulty understanding it, then, when a child asks a question to his teacher and the teacher doesn’t know what to answer, he slaps him on the face and tells him: “when you grow up, you’ll understand!” So you should answer the Jew who asks questions: This is the fact, even if you don’t understand!
Moshiach will judge by using his sense of smell. This is a metaphor for his ability to “sniff out” any miscarriage of justice. Moshiach will be endowed with Divine Inspiration that will guarantee the integrity of justice.

The question is asked: Why was it necessary for there to be the histalkus of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe? Here we had a Jew who showed open miracles… We could have proceeded together with him and thus complete the number of years remaining until the coming of Moshiach!
If you read the newspapers, you will get depressed. Iran, Syria, Egypt—everyone knows about them. The Chinese, behind their polite smiles, are always up to mischief—no one knows what they’re thinking. And the Russians are always flexing their muscles, trying to regain the glory of the Czars. Everyone knows what they’re thinking. So the world seems to be a mess, in deep trouble… But it’s not true.
