THE KOSEL WATCHMAN

He was a true Chabad Chassid, one of the directors of Kollel Chabad in Eretz Yisroel appointed by the Rebbe Rayatz. He also served as Rabbi of the Kosel HaMaaravi under the British, and was one of the prominent personalities in the Jewish quarter of the Old City until it fell to the Arab marauders in 1948.
